Semaca appoints new Marketing Director

The leading technology company Semaca Ltd has appointed John Currie as its Marketing Director.

John is an accomplished senior executive and entrepreneur who creates value from innovative disruptive technologies spanning a 25-year career.

From 1994 to 2003, John worked at Sarnoff Corp., the former RCA Laboratories, on several major next generation video instruments for Sarnoff’s clients. John also played a key role in creating and spinning out five new technology ventures based on Sarnoff’s innovative technologies. Since 2003, John has been consulting with early-stage technology-based ventures.

Previous to Sarnoff, John worked in the computer and IT industry for two leading Fortune 100 computing firms – Hewlett Packard and Digital Equipment, from 1979 to 1994 holding various senior sales executive positions. John serves on the Advisory Board of Predictive Inc., an early-stage health-care I.T. venture. John also serves on the Advisory Board of Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures, affiliated with Temples’ Fox School of Business.

John has a BSEE from Drexel University and an MBA from Villanova.
