VQFLow powers fully-automated video quality control for file-based workflows
Published: 14th April 2008
Semaca Ltd. has recently entered into an agreement with ROOT6 for the incorporation of Semaca’s VQFlow technology into the ContentAgent universal content repurposing platform.
VQFlow quality control libraries can be seamlessly integrated with any application to provide completely automated content creation workflows.
Mihai Ionescu, CEO at Semaca, said: “We are delighted to be working with ROOT6 helping them deliver the world-first content creation solution with fully automated video quality control powered by Semaca’s VQFlow technology. By listening to feedback from end users, we have made VQFlow easy to integrate in any development environment, simplifying the way the video quality metrics are reported to the user and drastically reducing costs. VQFlow’s faster than real-time performance ensures a minimum impact on any application it is integrated with.”
Kevin King, ContentAgent Product Manager-ROOT6, said: “The incorporation of VQFlow technology will be of great benefit to our customers who have previously had to QC material manually. Now they’ll be able to store the quality control information in the associated metadata and review timecode points in ContentAgent’s universal player.”
ROOT6 TECHNOLOGY will demonstrate at NAB 2008 the new fully-automated quality control features powered by the VQFlow technology.
